Why do we need sponsors?

The South Lakes Robotics team is always in need of sponsors. Because of our generous sponsors, we are able to obtain enough materials to build two or more robots. This allows for multiple designs and testing throughout the season. We use a leap-frog method throughout the year which allows us to work with two robots at a time to choose the best design at each stage. Having the materials we need to work with multiple robots at a time gives us the stability to be more creative and take risks with our ideas.
