Lizzie, an active member of our team, is also a member of the girl scouts. She invited us to demonstrate for the Girl Scout Maker Day along with other FIRST teams.
We showed off our robots at a local college, NOVA Community College in Annandale, gymnasium along side Marshall high school FRC, Herndon FRC, and NOVA Labs FTC .
We showcased our bots to Girl Scouts and Brownies; young girls and their families got a chance to interact with STEM by test driving and operating the various robots.
