During March and April of 2017, multiple members of the South Lakes Robotics team participated in the start-up of the first ever FIRST Global competition!
FTC Global is a engineering competition, similar to that of FTC, that brings together bright young minds from all around the world. Over 161 countries participated!
Here, you might recognize some of team members Logan, Andrew, and Rohan! They tested the robot assembly that was offered in the base kit sent to every country that participated.
This, of course, was done before the kits were sent out to the countries who participated. We were critical to the development as wrote instructions for assembly, or tested if they were clear enough. In addition, there was no lack of pictures as we took non-english speakers into account when designing the manuals.
